Dubai-based airline also intends to boost pilot numbers
Low-cost airline Flydubai aims to add 130 more pilots to its workforce with a further seven Boeing 737 aircraft in the pipeline to bolster its fleet.
The new aircraft, which the carrier says will be online before the end of 2024, will go a long way to supporting its ongoing network expansion into Basel, Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius.
Flydubai’s recruitment drive has been prompted by its continued growth. The additional pilots will join the 440 new hires the airline has made across all divisions since the beginning of 2024.
