Wellness-centric brand to open in Saudi city Dammam in 2029
IHG Hotels & Resorts will open Even Hotel Dammam in Saudi Arabia’s third largest city, marking the first foray in the Middle East for the wellness-focused brand born in Connecticut in the US more than a decade ago.
This comes as fitness-centric hotels and wellness experiences gain momentum in the region, with Siro, the world’s first urban fitness hotel resort open in Dubai and Amaala Triple Bay, a wellness destination set to open on Saudi’s Red Sea coast this year.
Scheduled to open in January 2029, Even Hotel Dammam will bring 300 rooms to Dammam’s King Abdullah Civic Centre, providing guests with direct access to cultural sites including a theatre, library and museum, plus a marina, sports facilities, parks and dining venues.
With a focus on helping guests maintain their fitness routines while travelling, Even Hotel Dammam will deliver a biophilic design that promotes wellbeing and offer rooms with wellness zones.
Tailored to meet regional demand, rooms will feature fitness equipment, from yoga mats and bands to interactive spin bikes, plus on-demand workout classes covering strength, HIIT, yoga and stretch.

Dining options will include nutritionally designed menus, healthy grab-and-go availability 24/7 and free flavoured filtered water with glass bottles available to fill up and take back to the room.
