Saudi Arabia’s new airline to provide an “elevated travel itinerary”

Riyadh Air will offer Blacklane chauffeur services to premium-class passengers in Saudi Arabia, providing guests with an “elevated travel itinerary, from the first mile to the last”.

The new Saudi carrier, which is expected to launch operations in late 2025, announced the partnership during the Paris Air Show (pictured).

The deal will see Blacklane provide complimentary chauffeur services for business class passengers and select loyalty members travelling to and from Riyadh, for journeys within 50km of King Khalid International Airport.

What’s more, these services will be integrated into Riyadh Air’s booking platform, so passengers will be able to book flights and their Blacklane chauffeur journey as part of the same process.

The airline’s customers can also separately book Blacklane’s services around the world.

Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air, said the new service aligned with the airline’s philosophy, to “deliver an exceptional premium experience" to the airline's guests.

“Our partnership with Blacklane reinforces our ethos of ensuring our customers experience Saudi hospitality with world-class service standards.”

This move follows the recent unveiling of Riyadh Air’s Business Elite and Business Class seats, whose design, layout and features have been crafted to deliver comfort and luxury, from ergonomic and luxurious fabrics to high-end technology.

Riyadh Air plans to connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations by 2030, supported by a fleet of 132 aircraft.
