New service to come online in March 2025
Low-cost carrier Wizz Air is adding a new direct route between Jeddah and London Gatwick next year, further expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia.
The new service will operate daily from 31 March 2025, with ticket prices starting from US$116.
Flights will depart London at 4pm, arriving at Jeddah at 12:35am, with the return flight leaving Jeddah at 1:30am, arriving back in London 6:25am (local time).
Over the past three years, Wizz Air has increased its capacity in Saudi Arabia, introducing several new routes, while contributing to the country’s Vision 2030 initiative to increase connectivity to Europe and boost inbound visitors.

“We’re excited to unlock unbeatable fares for our customers on the route to London, while offering the most sustainable option for flying,” said Andras Rado, Wizz Air’s Head of Communications and Government affairs.
“We are already flying several five-to-six-hour long ultra-low-cost routes with great satisfaction to our customers, and the XLR will extend our outstanding value proposition to seven-to-eight-hour long flights.”
Wizz Air’s investment in Saudi Arabia includes the use of modern, fuel-efficient aircraft, contributing to more sustainable travel.
The airline’s carbon intensity is estimated to be at least 30% lower than that of other carriers on the same routes, aligning with Wizz Air’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.
Since entering the Saudi market, Wizz Air has created more than 1500 job opportunities in the associated industries.
